Welcome to OCHTF

The Orange County Cold Case Homicide Task Force (OCHTF) is responsible for investigating unsolved homicides. The OCHTF was formed in 2014 and currently is comprised of investigators from the Orange County District Attorneys’ Office, Orange County Sheriff’s Department, Anaheim Police DepartmentFullerton Police Department, Garden Grove Police DepartmentHuntington Beach Police Department and the Santa Ana Police Department which is also the host agency where the OCHTF is located.

Crime scene management and advances in technology make a number of previously unsolved cases now potentially solvable. DNA recognition, advanced fingerprinting, and ballistics identification, all once unavailable, can now be used to help to review unsolved case evidence. Every unsolved case in our files will be reviewed and those cases with the best available evidence will receive high priority.

The OCHTF is dedicated to the pursuit of justice in every case we investigate. Your information can make a difference.

You can submit your feedback anonymously below or on the Contact Page, however, if you want us to get in touch with you about your information please include your name, e-mail address and/or phone number in your comments. Thank You.
